Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

I’m walking in honor of my dear friend Lindsay Gavin.

Ever since Lindsay and I met 18 years ago, we have shared many laughs and tears working (on it) together. Her fun and bold personality made anyone’s day more interesting! We had watched each other grow as nurses, moms, and individuals over the years.  Our goofy work friendship turned into a solid lifelong friendship which I will always treasure.  I will never forget how she had been there for me in so many ways.

Lindsay walked with us last year to help all who are fighting and have fought pancreatic cancer. Even while receiving chemo and various treatments, she was extremely motivated toward fundraising to find a cure. She was one strong ass woman! A few months after the PanCAN, she lost her life to pancreatic cancer. I miss Lindsay so much!

We continue to walk for Lindsay's memory and for her two daughters, Addie and Olivia, and her husband, Brian. Last year's team, "Working on a Cure", was able to raise over $38,000 and was the #1 fundraising team in Chicago! This year, I'm determined to make the team, "Love, Lindsay", even bigger and better to show Lindsay how we will continue to work to find a cure. Please join the fight against pancreatic cancer for Lindsay and so many others. Her fight is our fight!

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
