Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

On Dec 4th, 2023 I started chemotherapy treatments for pancreatic cancer. I will have just one cycle remaining on April 27, when I will celebrate by walking with my team at the PurpleStride event. 

Throughout this cancer journey I have been so incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful support network of family and friends, both near and far. I am also grateful for the team of Northwestern doctors and nurses, and for the tests and treatments that have been available to me. The money we raise at this event will help provide support, treatment, and hope to others battling this disease. 

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
