Unstoppable Hope

Raised: $3,586

Goal: $10,000

Welcome to our team fundraising page!

This is our third year participating in PanCAN's PurpleStride event and we want this year to be our biggest yet!

This awful cancer hit our family hard.  In March of 2021 our mom Ann Pellar was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and in October of 2022 our aunt's husband John McCormack was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  He fought hard but unfortunately passed away this past summer.   Our mom was lucky enough to get into a clinical trial that has given us more time.  She continues to fight this disease each day and is truly our hero.  We have decided to lead our lives with unstoppable hope.  She can beat this, and we can find a cure.  The Pellar, Glaros, Hurey, and Patterson families are participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.  We have personally experienced help from this organization.  It truly makes a difference in the lives of those fighting pancreatic cancer.  We will be walking in honor of our mom and John McCormack.

Every dollar you give means more patients can benefit from PanCAN’s free, one-on-one support, personalized information, service and resources that can make a real difference in their lives.  You can join us and walk on April 29th at Solider Field or just donate to the cause.

Thank you for your support and helping to give us and other families hit by pancreatic cancer unstoppable hope.
