Hello all, 

Team John Kearns is taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

July 6th, 2022 my dad (John Kearns “JK”) lost his battle to pancreatic cancer, but just like every other battle he faced in life He fought hard, and never gave up hope. This awful disease brought about pain and suffering, but it could never dim my dads light. He was resilient and continued to be the happy go lucky, humorous, loving, kind, giving person he was.

The 8 months he had he lived life to the absolute fullest, With a smile on his face. Every new day he had a positive outlook, and a game plan. It was never why me, it was try me. 

This was a battle he couldn’t win, or push through like every other but I’m so beyond proud of him for his strength. He is truly a super dad, warrior and my role model. 

I hate this cancer for taking my dad, it was the hardest thing to watch it take the life out of such a lively man that should have been with us for many more years. so to honor the memory of the one and only John kearns and his battle with pancreatic cancer, I ask for your support. Its our time to fight for him. 

Survivors, those who are currently fighting pancreatic cancer and those who lost the fight, such as my father. you are all so powerful! i stride for you.
