Welcome to Our PanCAN PurpleStride Team Fundraising Page!

Hi all!

After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in October 2022, my dad (Mark Pallos) fought harder than anyone I knew. The cancer got aggressive really fast and he passed away on October 21, 2023 with a room full of family and friends who loved him so much. 

We refuse to say my dad lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He fought with everything he had. We are taking over this battle for him. We will raise the funds in his honor and save lives.

The biggest issue with pancreatic cancer is it most often found too late. We need to raise these funds for earlier detection testing, clinical trials, and treatment options. 

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 27, 2024. PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
