Hey, there!

I'm Pete Schwab, and if you're here you know I've been fighting Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer since March 2022.  Through the help of friends, family, co-workers, my awesome healthcare team and the grace of God, I'm surviving and thriving despite the bleak outlook of my inital prognosis. I am here to prove you can live with (and triumph over!) this disease. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for all the support, prayer, and well wishes I've received over the last year. Trust me, it all helps and is motivating me to keep fighting and living the life I want to live!

Now, down to the nitty gritty:

My team and I are taking steps to end pancreatic cancer at the PanCAN PurpleStride event on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

We want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need your help to do that!

PanCAN PurpleStride is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services. PanCAN was incredibly supportive and active in helping Tara and I get the information and resources we needed to get our feet on the ground and understand what I was truly facing in the early days of my diagnosis and treatment - and I'm incredibly grateful to this organization. They're great folks that do great work for patients and their families.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal – because the more money we raise, the bigger impact we make – and would appreciate a gift of any size to help us get there.
