On February 3, 2020, Rick passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.  All of our lives forever changed that day and we miss him dearly.  For almost two years, Rick went through multiple rounds of tests, surgeries, hospitalizations and chemotherapy.  Through it all, he fought the good fight and faced these challenges head-on with a positive mind and attitude despite the struggle mentally and physically to keep going.


Please join us and take a walk with TEAM JOHNSON on April 27, 2024, in support of continued funding for research to find a cure for Pancreatic Cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
