Welcome to our team page, Pilar’s family and friends! This spring we are walking to honor Pilar Sayurin Recker, who passed away on September 25, 2020, after an admirable fight against pancreatic cancer.  Pilar was a loving mother, wife, teacher, artist, traveler, foodie, and grammar expert! We miss her everyday.

PanCAN is a wonderful organization that contributes to research and provides medical care, counseling, and resources for patients and their families. The pancreatic cancer 5 year survival rate just increased to 13%. That is low. With more funds and research, we can make more of an impact on people's lives and increase the survival rate.
