Hoping life continues to be full and satisfying for you and yours, especially as time progresses, seeming more and more precious with each passing day!   Please remain safe, well & content.

This is our 13th year of commitment to Pancan in fundraising efforts to find relief and resolution in the ongoing battle against pancreatic cancer.

When Silicon Valley Purple Stride began in 2012, though Vertis was 6 months into his diagnosis & treatment, he was able to walk a portion of the course.  That is when 5 year survival was a dismal 5 or 6%.   In these 13 years, survival has improved to 13%, painstakingly incremental, yet still encouraging -there remains MUCH progress to be made.

Your generous donations have made a difference!   Team Vertis has raised about $80K since 2012 and we are eternally grateful and remain steadfast in our support.

For those living in or near Silicon Valley CA, please consider joining me for the 5K Purple Stride on Sat morning, April 27, 2024. You may recall this event has been in November in past years; it has been changed to consolidate all events nationwide annually in April.
