Welcome to our team fundraising page!

I thought of naming my PanCAN PurpleStride team “My Way or the Highway!” not only after the famous ROADHOUSE line, but also for my late husband, Patrick Swayze’s, stellar will and determination against this deadly disease.

He was so adventurous and had a zest for life. Tough and a fighter. Strong and determined.

I see these characteristics in people who are affected by pancreatic cancer – whether it’s themselves, or someone they know and love.

I’m encouraging you to join Team Swayze, at PanCAN PurpleStride on April 30, 2022.

You can participate from wherever you are, and in any way you would like. I will be walking to honor Patrick and the 62,000 people who will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year.

Come support PanCAN’s mission to take bold action to improve the lives of people with pancreatic cancer. They fund research, urge Congress to fund more federal research into this disease, provide incredible free support to patients and families, and so much more.

It was unfair that Patrick died of pancreatic cancer, and it’s unfair that thousands more will die this year. And Team Swayze is standing up to pancreatic cancer and saying, “It’s Our Way or the Highway!”

So please sign up today for Team Swayze at PanCAN PurpleStride on April 30, 2022 and start fundraising ‘cause people, this fight ain’t over until it’s over. O’ yeah!

Together we will make change happen!
